As an freelance and independent midwife in the Innsbruck area, I do not have a direct contract with the Austrian health insurance companies, which is why some of my services are not or only partially covered by the health insurances and you have to finance the treatment in advance. After submitting the fee note and proof of payment, 80% of the statutory midwifery tariff will be reimbursed by your health insurance. Please inform yourself in advance at your health insurance which costs can be reimbursed. It is possible to get a special tariff as a student.
